One of my worries as I was coming out was all the material I read about abandon young men by their families living on the streets and used for sex and most heavily involved in drugs mostly through use of needles.
Another was the fact the average gay relationship was 18 months, yes 18 months. I rarely spoke to anyone about that but I worried so much. It was a world I was afraid of, but venturing on! There was no turning back!
I believe I have always been lucky with some kind of spiritual (angel) protecting me. I often speak angels are amongst us but I mean something I can't explain, I believe watches over me. Sometimes I feel it! When I am bad or good it’s there. It allows me to try and learn but always makes sure I end up on the good side of things.
I can't say I am proud of what I have done in the lat almost 12 years and I will not apologize for what I may do in the next decade or two! However I have always believed in balance! Maybe it was my upbringing, maybe it was my mentors, maybe it was my angel or maybe it's those angels around me, but I always snap back to reality.
We all enjoy a little escape and don't get me wrong at times I want to hide for days if not weeks! But I have this marvelous man in my life and these wonderful people that check on me once and a while and I deeply appreciate that.
I never had a need for rehab, but unfortunately see that in my community! I see the reasons why! Children not loved and abandoned are so venerable by older men who use and abuse them until another comes along. Most confuse that for love and either end up dead or in rehab.
It is unfortunate! But for my blog readers I want you all to know that is you find yourself in this situation, ROB AND I ARE HERE TO HELP!
We have helped some and lost a few, but we continue to make sure every young man can be as successful as we have been even with difficult times. I dedicate this to a man who was there for me long time ago, John Castro!

Rick Scott wake up! America needs another way of getting around besides cars!
Let’s see gas has gone up 6 cents in one day! It will be 4 dollars in no time in Florida! It's not like we all have millions (unless you live in Miami) and we need other ways of moving people cost effective.
I think this Governor (not voted by me) will go down as the biggest idiot to date and believe me we have been seeing the idiocy around the country.
We have leaders deciding for everyone without community input and we have majorities making decisions without even debating with other leaders never mind the citizens.
Yes we asked for budget cuts and balanced budgets. But nothing happens overnight and you do too much and in the process fuck up the state and our country.
Americans need to become involved in this country as they are being involved in the Middle East. Take our country back.
These republican leaders (as well as democrats) spend up to 80 million for a 200k job! Come-on where is the common sense in that! It’s called kick-backs for life!

We forgot our civil war! We better get on the right side!
A U.N. security panel is scheduled to meet Saturday to discuss a draft resolution against Libyan President Moammar Gadhafi, who is clinging to power as protesters call for an end to his 42-year rule.
This kind of approach to a dictator who is killing his people and may use chemical gas (mustard) on the millions still trying to get out should be unaccepted by the Us and world community.
We have so many implemented war behavioral rules that no-one seems to follow including the USA during the Iraq war. It's time for change as promised by Obama!
Don't tell me we can as a world community find out where his family is and just drop a bomb that stops the massacre. I lose sleep wondering where these leaders’ balls are. The majority of the Libyan people have asked for h world help, especially us since we stand for freedom.
Like Ronald Reagan, I hope that the president joins the right side and does the right thing!

The Far East Good For The World, Country and Future!
When democratic changes move a nation to go in the right direction, it’s good for everyone. To realize that with that part of the world being the richest nations today and with so much poverty is unimaginable.
With today’s technology, the new generation will not tolerate dictators unless they are making sure their citizens are being taken care of with all the freedoms of today's world.
This even goes for the USA! What is happening across the states is good! Republicans will get a chance to show they are fuck-ups and then we will move forward with new thinking and new ideas from the new generation that just maybe will be people focused and not self centered as seen in Wisconsin.
I strongly believe that it is always good when people take control, for if it is not working, it's our responsibility to take control for the majority to benefit and maintain all the freedoms allowed by all the constitutions written or un-written.

Time for Gay rights to move forward!
I guess my marriage to Rob is now legal in all senses across state lines! It’s exciting to see the East making major civil rights challenges to their government and us finnally receiving our rights here in the US! We SHOULD set the standard! Before you know it, they will pass us on all civil rights and like Europe embarrass America.
It’s the right thing to do at the right time!

Janet, MS Jackson...Hard to believe!
I happen to live with a man who adores, Ms Jackson and was there when he book was released last week. True Janet Jackson! I read the first chapter and found myself wondering could it be true that this sweet almost innocent looking, soft spoken woman portrayed on TY. Could have had such a bad childhood?
This woman who on stage puts her crotch on a man's face and on national football halftime exposed he breasts ( not a big deal to me) could of suffered mental and even physical abuse that was never dealt with until just recently in her 40's?
As a person who had a bad childhood, with an abusive father and a tolerating mother until age 9, I can be sympathetic to some of her comments about her parents especially, Joseph (not Dad)! However I am not just dealing with it now! I have known all my life and planned according to what I perceived to be right and dealt with it little by little.
Ms Jackson comes across as a soft spoken polished marketing personality! It's too polished for this blogger to believe. She is a wonderful performer both onstage and off.

Freedom around the world, through Facebook
No-one should be surprised at the movement in Egypt! I would say all the world's governments should be aware that through technology the new generation can share information and all want to live in freedom.
It's a different world from our parents! I remember when we had one phone for an entire city! Today information is instant and everyone wants to share in the changes (positive) effecting society.
The basics will be demanded from the government, such as freedom, healthcare, running water, etc. I put these in the same categories because in some places it needs to move that fast, yes running water to having the latest in technologies.
This will be a struggle for some nations, but if the government represents the people, together they can define the challenges and work toward achieving them.
Not addressing basic to more advanced needs will cause people to rebel as we see in the Arab countries.
So this should not come as a surprise to African nations, Arab nation's or any other nation keeping a blind eye toward what people need and will demand as technology advances around the world!
