A time for leadership from the President

I can't imagine the president would not use his executive powers and never let out country default. Down deep both parties know this would be the case. But the president proved a point, the people recently sent some idiots to Washington, some of witch are willing to see this country fall apart. What scares me is most Americans go on with their Starbucks coffee, latest movies at the local theater and taking care of their lawns rather than get involved.

It's exactly what happened for 8 years as George W Bush ruined our country. We let an idiot do shit that will take generations to fix. My life on earth is almost over but I worry the next generation is so discussed it rather do without federal government. It seems to have lost its purpose and the cost is outrageous. Maybe it's time we do what the Soviet Union did and break up the states. Create borders ad people live where they are wanted and respected. That is what's happening with the GAY issue. The Federal government has said it's a state issue and it's a mess.

I believe if President Obama has made some mistakes it's in that he has at times not been the leader we expected. Right or wrong make a decision and move forward. Be less concerned about the next 4 years than what is happening now. We need a Clinton, Reagan but more so on social issues.

Mr. President this voter wants you to lead, make decisions based on the good for all the people and youre country. Don't let people who want to destroy this country lead you array!

CNN stories on videos

I love to review CNN online. I rarely if ever watch the morning news anymore and i sometimes watch the evening news. Lately I rarely watch that, its starting to annoy me. So I am an online CNN junkie.

So I stroll down at the top stories and something catches my eye and I click it and it's a video story. Now do;t get me wrong I don;t mind the video story!. The video streamlining is very good over Verizon FIOS and the clearness is unbelievable.

However why do I have to sit through a 3 minute commercial before I see the story. I don't have the 3 minutes and even if I did I don't want  to! So CNN stop the commercials, people like me bypass those stories.

The world is moving forward, American's are sleeping!

I make this statement as I see the inactivity from American's on an important issue like the debt crisis. For some reason, immigration issues move Latin’s into the streets! Gay issues lead us to parades and even some losing their lives in the early years or even today. But when it comes to our financial future, it's as if we just sleep through it, it will go away.

People should realize that all China has to do is call in its chips and they own us. Would this happen, probably not but this country no longer leads the world in many ways! We are about to lose one of the last leadership standing we have in the world! Financial responsibility!

We all agree that we need to control spending. But making the rich, richer isn't working (George Bush proved that), and just giving money away to the poor isn't working either (Clinton proved that). We need balance.

Somehow Washington has lost common sense and the need for balance. The Republicans don't want to touch the rich though they admit they should pay more. The Democrats don't want to hurt the poor that just barely survive.

Then we have those cheating the system that somehow never gets addressed. Like millions in Florida on food stamps and working under the table making 75-100k a year. I am a strong believer if you get government assistance you should do something for what we get. I have traveled to China and you see old people sweeping the streets. Well time to see what we can do here. I being on disability can even do something at times.

We all have the responsibility to be proud to be American's and stop thinking the government owes us something! Yes we contributed to our SS or SSI or DSSI, but we can all do a little something to help out the situation.

Our leaders could take a pay cut for a year or two. Most are millionaires anyway! And we American's need to start wondering why someone would spend 80-100 Million for a job that pays 200k a year!

Wake up American's or someday someone will wake you up and it may not be an American!

Going Android

I fought it for years! I was a dedicated Blackberry user. I can't remember when it started and I could never imagine giving it up.

When the Iphone came out I tried and lasted 3 weeks and back to my BB I went along with Robert. He has been quicker to embrace the Android world. But that typing and always a dirty screen still bother me.

I am at the third week point and I have to admit there is no going back. The My Touch T-Mobilr phone is amazing. The apps, lets just say I can download pics of men from all over the world and this keeps me entertained.

The speed is purely amazing and I can actually talk to my mother without being disconnected (shame on you Sprint).

Oh yeah I can video Rob and be naughty (future usage). I can also record myself and send video to my kids and friends or nude ones to people out there (kidding, but who knows).

Overall, bottom line there is no going back! Thanks Blackberry, welcome Android. No wonder Google stock is around 300-400 a share! Google+ I await you!

Why I will vote for Obama!

First I have to say I voted for McCain and Palin and that was a huge mistake now that you see what a flake she is. I could only imagine McCain dead and that woman in charge and all the idiots she would have there in the White House!

Now acknowledging that I will vote for Obama for the following:

He has done well since he has taken office from what was a mess under Bush.
He has pushed for equal rights for everyone including gays
He has killed that man everyone has been chasing, that all knew where he was
He is getting out of two expensive wars we can't afford
Under him the stock market has bounced back by record numbers
He acts and speaks like a president

Most of all he and his administration are taking the bull from the right and haven't given in! To be honest if I was president I would have said "take this job and shove it"! For that alone I will vote for him.

There are some characters out there that are scary and Gob forbid they ever get any closer to the White House than Congress! That alone is scary!

Whose fault is it anyway!

At 52 I still wonder what I would say to my father if he was alive today. So much goes through my mind! You see the last words my dad told me at age 12 was "shut up or I'll slap you"! I did not know why he said that since I was crying because I missed him.

Those words ring in my mind as if they were said yesterday! There was no "I love you" or anything close to that! But who's fault is it that those words were never said and who's fault is it this still bothers me today and no doubt until the day I die?

I will never have an answer! It can't be me, for I just loved him and missed him so much! It can't be him for he was from another time another world it seems and it can't be my mother she needed to think of us not him.

So here I am with no-one to point the finger at, but dealing with the effects of those words said to me 40 years ago! I don't think he meant that, for what father would say that to a child! I don’t remember if he was sober or not but it don't matter. Words are like knifes that leave permanent scars.

Since he is dead all I can do is move on! But now that I have all this time on my hand I am searching for who's fault it anyway and my conclusion is no-one's! Different time, different world and a person who can never respond to my inquiries but left me hanging with some everlasting broken heart that only death will heal!

Don't do the same to you're children! Don't leave them thinking "whose fault is it"!
