People have always misunderstood the two. It's like the difference between gay and homosexual! My mother does not understand it and it seems society and our community is struggling with it!
One can be gay live a very happy heterosexual life and never mingle never mind live a homosexual lifestyle! One can be gay and never have sex with a man is what I am saying. Though some find this hard to believe, it's been so since the beginning of time.
It only I had a dollar for every gay man that has lived and never was a homosexual (sex with a man). I myself knew I was gay and never had a relationship with another man until I was 40.
There is a huge difference and just because one is gay does not him a homosexual and the same goes for lesbians.
So next time you call someone gay, though married, single, a priest minister, father, mother etc... He or she may just be that. However make sure you know for certain before you call someone a homosexual! Why, unless you catch them at it you never know and something you cannot ever be certain of!

The Human Spirit
In the last 50 years I have seen some amazing human and/or natural disasters and am always amazed at the human spirit. What we are seeing in Japan is no different than many other major disasters in the last 50 years.
The human spirit is one of survival, and so though many may die during these disasters those that are left have a stronger will to carry on! They picked up the pieces and make the world a better place to live. We constantly hear of the end of the world and to thousands the world ended app. a week ago in Japan.
For those that lived they will be stronger, have a greater meaning of life and pass that on to the next generation. We were built with a will to survive. Just look at any place that had a disaster that even if humans still cannot occupy it today nature has taken over.
It is said that if NYC was left alone and no human occupied it would go back to its natural state within 300 years. Yes even if we are not here the earth is made to continue. If we are smart we will work things out learn from both natural and human made disasters and live for many years to come.

Having a stalker!
For years I always wondered what it's like to have someone like you so much they stalk you. I reminded me of that episode on Will & Grace when Jack stalked (I forgot his name). It was funny yet dealt with an issue that some don’t take so lightly.
So I have always wanted a stalker! Don’t get me wrong I don’t want someone stalking to kill me or separate me from my true love (that would never happen)! I wanted a Jack!!!!
Someone that could not wait to see me, someone that called me all the time that I enjoyed talking to, someone cute obviously and someone that was not attached.
In some way people would say well you have that! Yes, I am can honestly say I have someone who enjoys being with me and if not working is actually with me all the time. But he and I are one so it's a little different!
I would like someone I can't have but would desire me and want me as if he could.
Well why did this blog come about? I have one that seems to fit this category, except he is in Indonesia! I guess at least it happened and was short lived but fun.

There are dreams, and there are dreams! Meeting Cher!
I have never been one to admire people for who they are or what they are. I admire someone's voice, charisma and even presentation. But if you have not impacted my life is a positive way I am not very impressed!
And this is where Cher comes in! Maybe it's the glass of wine (not really) or looking at the Burlesque poster Rob has on the dining room wall, but I was thinking how much Cher has impressed me and how much I would like to go shopping, walk the dog have my famous Portuguese Turkey with my family and her. Believe me in Bayonet Point Florida, Cher would not need a disguise!
This is why Cher impresses me to today:
I remember her song "believe" and how it gave me the freedom to be what I am today!
She has encountered sadness and showed us you can cry for love!
Cher has acceptance built into her character though at times no doubt difficult!
She has showed her dark side even though most of us are afraid to do so!
She has been sexy and no afraid to be so even as she ages (not to me).
She has been brave to change with time.
She to me is natural and as time she transforms because it's who she is not for fame.
She shows resilience and decades later can touch people's heart!
Cher appears to be genuine is her heart and love just shines!
She has loved, been hurt and jumped back.
I have never heard apologies for having been who she is.
Like Elizabeth Taylor I believe Cher still loves, because once you love its forever!
She is not my icon! She happens to be human and I guess that is the reason my dream, if there is one is to have Cher ring my doorbell one day! I would not melt, I would say, lets go for a walk. Girl how have you done it and still inspire people today!
I know Rob would say he would melt if Janet rang the door bell! But I always remember Cher's concert words! "Follow this bitches". Only a confident star and human being says that!
You may never read this Cher, but, here is a glass of wine celebrating the impact you have left me and millions of others.
